Avid Gong Yoo fans hoping to see the South Korean actor in person will soon have an opportunity to meet the "Goblin" star. The Hallyu celebrity is set to embark on a fan meeting tour, as well as launch a charity event with his loyal followers.

Gong Yoo will soon hold a special event that will both delight his fans and help people in need. The "Goblin" actor is planning to launch a bazaar where the proceeds of the event will be donated to a charitable organization.

In an announcement released by Gong Yoo's agency, as obtained by Korean news outlet OSEN, Soop Entertainment shared that the said charity bazaar has been an event that the actor has always wanted to do. With the intention to bring him closer to his fans and extend assistance to less fortunate people or communities, the said activity will be a more meaningful event than the usual meet-and-greet format.

However, details of the "Goblin" actor's upcoming charity bazaar have yet to be disclosed. It appears that the said project is still in the early stages of planning although Soop Entertainment promised to unveil the final dates, location and other details soon.

Apart from the said event, loyal fans can also look forward to Gong Yoo's 2017 fan meeting tour. In a statement released by Soop Entertainment on Feb. 22, Wednesday, as obtained by Kpop Herald, the agency revealed that actor is slated to jumpstart his upcoming meet-and-greet events in April.

Fans from several Asian countries such as Taiwan and Hong Kong can expect to see the Hallyu star in the coming months. However, the schedule of the upcoming fan meeting tour has yet to be disclosed.

It is also unclear if Gong Yoo will visit countries outside of Asia. After appearing in the hit tvN fantasy series "Goblin," the actor received offers to hold fan events in 15 countries including the U.S.

"Goblin" aired from early December 2016 until Jan. 21. Shortly after the finale, tvN released two special episodes that contained blooper reels and cast commentaries on Feb. 3 and Feb. 4.
