George Clooney Shares Amal’s Pregnancy Preparations, Talks Babies Gender
With the impending arrival of George Clooney and Amal Clooney's twins, the Hollywood couple already started to make changes to their lifestyles in preparation for their new roles as parents. The actor recently shared some interesting details about the adjustments that they agreed to make and his thoughts on the babies' gender.
George and Amal Clooney will soon join the list of first-time parents with the upcoming birth of their baby twins. Recently, the "Hail Caesar" actor opened up about fatherhood and the precautions that he and his wife agreed to take to ensure the human rights lawyer's safe and healthy pregnancy.
With Amal constantly traveling to high-risk destinations as part of her job, the Hollywood couple agreed to limit the expectant mother's trips. In an interview with French outlet Paris Match, as cited by Entertainment Tonight, George Clooney stated that his wife will not be visiting areas that she may not be welcomed, as well as countries such as Iraq.
On George's part, the actor also agreed to stop traveling to places such as South Sudan or the Congo. He explained that it was the responsible thing to do in order to avoid potentially dangerous situations, especially with two Clooney babies on the way.
Meanwhile, the Hollywood star commented on a rumor that they are expecting a baby boy and a baby girl. With George and Amal Clooney having no idea about the twins' gender, it appears that the Hollywood couple would rather be surprised than learning the truth beforehand.
Despite George Clooney's age, he is ready to face his new role as a father. In an interview on the French show Rencontres de Cinema, the 55-year-old actor mentioned how other male celebrities, who are much older than he is, have fathered a child in their senior years.
George Clooney and Amal Clooney tied the knot in September 2016 in a romantic ceremony in Italy. The Hollywood couple is expected to welcome their twins in June.
