"Mighty No. 9" will not be delayed any longer, according to the game developer, and a sequel is already being planned.

"Mighty No. 9", the successor of the classic game "Rockman", had many delays in the past. This time around, the creator of the game, Keiji Inafune, promises that the game will not be delayed again, according to PC Gamer. His promise was addressed at the 2015 Unreal Fest in Japan earlier this week.

The reason for "Mighty No.9" to be delayed was because to it launching to multiple platforms which are the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U. There is also a plan to expand to the PS Vita and the 3DS, according to Shack News. Inafune also discussed during the lecture his rise to indie and mobile gaming.

The game developer of "Mighty No. 9" has also planned for a sequel of the game if it performs well, according to Nintendo Enthusiast.

The first release date of "Mighty No. 9" was on April 2014 and since then, two delays happened. The backers of the game were alarmed when even the game's demo was delayed, according to sources. Inafune promises this will not happen again, according to SoftPedia.

"Mighty No. 9" was created by Keiji Inafune because Capcom, owner of the rights to "Rockman/Mega Man", did not want to hand over the rights to the game he created, "Rockman". Inafune then made a Kickstarter campaign for his new creation which went over the goal of $3 million, according to GameZone.

"Mighty No. 9" will not be delayed anymore, according to Inafune. The game is scheduled to be released on Feb. 9 next year in North America and Feb. 12 worldwide next year. PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Wii U owners will have this game. The PS Vita and 3DS version is also planned.
