Screenrant shared that Disney CEO Bob Iger got a chance to see the "Star Wars: Episode 8" movie earlier than the official premiere date. Posting via Twitter, Hannah Sampson claimed that the exec finds "The Last Jedi" as "a great next chapter in the iconic Skywalker family saga."
According to the news outlet, the good feedback of Bob Iger on "Star Wars: Episode 8" is already a promise that the upcoming installment is going to be better than its predecessors. Seeing the movie several months before its official show date is a very uncommon happening in the movie industry.
However, before "Star Wars: Episode 8," an executive screening for the "Batman v Superman" movie was also conducted seven months before the movie hit the movie theaters worldwide. Screenrant added this could also be an indication that everything is going well at Lucasfilm.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that Fandango and MoviesDotCom Managing Director Erik Davis has announced via Twitter that the official trailer for the "Star Wars: Episode 8" movie is going to be released in April 2017.
