‘Resident Evil 7’ Release Date Confirmed? Spinoff In The Works?
The "Resident Evil 7" release date has been reported to have been confirmed, this according to fans. However, no article citing an actual date has been seen yet.
Aside from this rumor, there is also another one that states the date will be announced soon by the game publisher. There will be more news on new spin-offs and other games related to the game franchise.
Masachika Kawata, Capcom producer, was interviewed on Dengeki PlayStation's 600th volume. He was being asked about what will happen to the game franchise and he answered all of the questions, according to Latin Post.
The news about "Resident Evil 7" is still vague, but Kawata did ask the fans that they should wait for a bit for more news of the next installment. This is either there might be news for the release date sometime soon or the next installment is still in progress, according to GamerRant.
"We're currently not at a state to talk about it... but please stay tuned," he said.
"Since there's been more spinoff titles, I can see how it can be perceived in such a way," he answers after being asked if "Resident Evil" is losing its scare factor.
"And of course I believe that we should produce titles that bring out the horror. I'm thinking about it and also preparing for it," he continues, according to Realty Today.
"Resident Evil 2" remake has also been confirmed by Capcom. It will be a full remake, according to sources.
"We're pleased to confirm that Resident Evil 2 has been approved for development," said a Capcom representative when asked by Videogamer. "As the title is only just starting its development cycle we unfortunately don't have any additional information or assets to share at this time."
Capcom assures that there will be more news soon for the remake. Yoshiaki Hirabayashi will be the one to produce this remake of this game, according to sources.
Even though the "Resident Evil 7" release date has not yet been confirmed, fans are already excited for this new update.
