Several fans were disappointed when George RR Martin announced that he could not finish "The Winds of Winter" book yet. However, recent reports are giving the followers of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series a light of hope.

Spoiler Scoop reported that "The Winds of Winter" is now on proofreading phase, hinting that George RR Martin will soon be releasing the much-anticipated book. Reports about the sixth book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series is now about to be launched after the New Mexican author stated that he will not be releasing sample chapters anymore.

Sources have claimed that George RR Martin already announced that we will not be giving spoilers for the upcoming "The Winds of Winter" anymore. With this, avid fans of the book series have guessed that the waiting game will soon be over.

Quite a few also believe that "The Winds of Winter" might arrive before the year ends. If the claims stating that the book is now on its proofreading phase are true, then, this is high likely to happen.

George RR Martin, on the other hand, has not neither denied nor confirmed these reports as of yet. So, even if these claims are true, fans should still take everything lightly since everything remains unconfirmed until now.

Meanwhile, Bleeding Cool News reported that George RR Martin is currently working on another project. The news outlet reported that "The Winds of Winter" author is looking for some workers to fill up an online art gallery for "Wild Cards."

George RR Martin posted the offer through his LiveJournal website. "Thing is, there's no art in the art gallery... yet. That's where we hope you will come in. We want Wild Cards art!" the author of "The Winds of Winter" book wrote.
