'Madam Secretary' Season 3 Episode 12, Tea Leoni, Tonya Pinkins' Bumpy African Trip, Tim Daly's Story Arc, Season 4 Not Decided
"Madam Secretary" Season 3 is in its twelfth episode before the final run of the season on January 15, Sunday. Episode 12 of the series titled "The Detour" will bring back the cunning and exceptionally brilliant US Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) in the political arena. It's is not home ground but the US team will be in Africa.
In a report by Spoilertv, Elizabeth McCord with her staff and the whole US entourage will experience a bumpy African trip in "Madam Secretary" Season 3 episode 12. Their purpose is to offer Development Aid to the continent. Plans are in place to achieve the goals of the Aid Engagement. However, Elizabeth will get the most disturbing encounter with the Chinese team.
Additionally, "Madam Secretary" Season 3 as reported by TVguide, will depict China, which will arrive in Africa ahead of the McCord's team. Not only that, the Chinese will have an array of development aid offers that could somehow sway the Africans, if not countered.

"Madam Secretary" Season 3 episode 12 is not only about challenges that the US and the Chinese have to face in their competing aid offers. Elizabeth McCord and Susan Thompson played by Tonya Pinkins will be on a tour of the African continent.

Meanwhile, back in the US Elizabeth's husband, Henry McCord (Tim Daly) will be facing a different challenge. Henry will help in the FBI's investigation of the Illinois coffee shop bombing. It can be recalled that a Christian cult member has been linked to the bombing incident.
"Madam Secretary" Season 3 episode 12 will be aired on January 15, 2017 at the CBS network. However, at this point in time there has no news yet from CBS on the renewal of the series.
