Hyun Bin Among Ha Ji Won’s Drinking Buddies

Actress Ha Ji Won revealed that actor Hyun Bin is among his drinking buddies.

The enviable camaraderie between the two Hallyu stars live on six years after they partnered in the romantic comedy series "Secret Garden."   

The 38-year-old actress appeared Thursday on tvN's variety show "Life Bar" where she revealed who her drinking buddies are.

"I'm close to Hyun Bin out of the celebrities.  I have friends with whom I drink soju together and eat samgyupsal," allkpop quoted the actress as saying. 

Aside from the 34-year-old actor, Ha Ji Won also picked her mother as her drinking partner.

"There are even times my mother is talking to herself, gets choked up, and starts crying," shared the actress. "Then I pat my mother on the back. She really is like my drinking buddy.  It's not because she's my mom and I'm her daughter but because if I don't drink with her for a while, I really want a drink with her."

Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won's "The King 2 Hearts" co-star Lee Seung Gi were among those who paid their respects at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital funeral hall when her father Jeon Yoon Bok died in January from heart attack.

"I can't believe this at all and I feel numb as if it's all a dream," DramaFever quoted the actress as saying.

Ha Ji Won was close to her late father who died aged 68. In a 2014 interview for a magazine special on her daughter, Jeon Yoon Bok talked about the actress as an ideal daughter and how he longed for her to finally find her partner in life.

Unfortunately for Ha Ji Won, Hyun Bin is now dating actress Kang So Ra.

The "Secret Garden" stars remained friends as Hyun Bin texted Ha Ji Won after finding herself entangled in a controversy with South Korean President Park Geun Hye.

Ha Ji Won denied rumors she's dating Chen Bolin, a Taiwanese actor and her "Risking Life for Love" co-star.
