"Running Man" ex-member Kang Gary deleted his Instagram after Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook announced their exit while Kang Ho Dong declines offer to join the show.

The two original members dubbed by the show's fans as "Ace" and "The Commander" announced their decision to leave "Running Man" Wednesday, a few hours before Gary shut down his Instagram account.

Gary nor his agency did not offer any explanation as to why the 38-year-old rapper and former "Running Man" member took down all his 88 photos and videos and unfollowed the 145 people he used to be following.

A report by Koreaboo speculated that the controversy involving his former cast members and friends Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook may shed some light to the rapper's recent social media purge.

This may also be the same reason why TV host and comedian Kang Ho Dong, who's expected to reunite with his former "X-Man" co-host Yoo Jae Suk in the second season of "Running Man" next year, ended up turning down the offer.

Kang Ho Dong's label SM C&C revealed that the veteran TV host did consider accepting the offer to join SBS' "Running Man Season 2."

"However, we found out that Kang Ho Dong's decision has become uncomfortable due to various situations," stated the official announcement. "As a result, we are here to officially announce our stance. We don't know every detail of the situation, but we don't want Kang Ho Dong's appearance to be uncomfortable to the viewers even a little bit. With that in mind, we feel hurt and sorry, but will politely decline the offer."

This announcement was released just as the labels for the original cast members Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook acknowledged reports that the two were forced out of the show.

The actress' label MY Company previously said that the actress' scheduling conflicts led to her decision to quit the show. She's expected to be spending a lot of time in China to promote her upcoming movie "Super Express."
