"Payday 2" new microtransactions has angered the gaming community and as well the fans who have been following the game since day one. The game developer is not talking about the reason for the move.

Starbreeze Studios has released a new feature of "Payday 2" which is a microtransaction system. In the game you will get random-filled safes which will require drills. The drills will need real money for it to open. This has angered the gaming community and also the fans. The developers are not talking about the reason why they have put that feature though, according to Kotaku.

"Vlad's brand new Weapons Deal lets you bring out the very best in your favorite guns with a huge update to the Black Market," reads the update on Overkillsoftware. "This Weapons Deal opens up a brand new way of allowing you to personalize your weapons with skins, mods and more!"

The website has an explanation on how the feature works. After paying for the "Payday 2" new microtransactions system, you can now open the safe with the special drill. The player who opens it will now get a randomly selected weapon skin. The skin will add new abilities to their gun. A player can also trade the skins in the Steam Community, according to Geeksnack.

The "Payday 2" new microtransactions system arrived just in time for an event of "Payday 2" which is the "Crimefest". This event is the annual ten day event for the game. During the span of ten days, the event will bring daily updates and rewards for the player, according to VG247.

"We've read a lot of your feedback," states a news update on Steam. "We're aware that there are those of you who are unhappy or concerned about the Black Market update."

"Once Crimefest and all its content is out we'll discuss this with you along with the other new features that were added," The news update continued. "While we usually get back to you straight away when you have feedback, right now we're busy as hell making sure we finish all the content we prepared on time."
