President Park Used Ha Ji Won’s Name in ‘Secret Garden,' Dragging the Actress in the Scandal

Ha Ji Won made it to the top 10 real-time searches because of the wrong reasons. President Park used Ha Ji Won's name in the drama 'Secret Garden' as her fake name at the Chaum hospital. It somehow dragged the actress' name into the presidential scandal, making her a hot topic online. Looks like the scandal-rocked president is a fan of the actress herself.

It was reported by JTBC's 'Newsroom' on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, that President Park used Ha Ji Won's name, 'Gil Ra Im', as she received services from Chaum hospital for free. Chaum, an anti-aging life center, has been associated with Choi Soon-sil, Park's confidant and the woman behind the whole presidential scandal that rocked the country today. It has been reported that Park have been receiving free services from the said anti-aging center since 2011 under the name 'Gil Ra Im'. She refused to use her real name and insisted on being registered using that fake name. The incident is said to be another case of abuse of power.

Because President Park used Ha Ji Won's name and somehow dragged the actress' name into the issue, fans are sending the actress encouraging comments through the social media. Although the actress was completely unassociated with the presidential scandal, they felt that it is unfair for her name to be dragged into the controversy in such a ridiculous way.
