Super Junior's Kyuhyun Teases for His Upcoming Solo Comeback While Shooting His New MV
A report from Allkpop last week stated that SM Entertainment announced that Super Junior maknae Kyuhyun is set to have a solo comeback next month and also revealed that Sung Si Kyung will be taking part in the idol's album.
In the announcement, SM Entertainment said, "Currently, Kyuhyun is preparing an album to be released in November. It will be a mini album and it will include songs composed by Sung Si Kyung." Kyuhyun had previously expressed his admiration for the veteran singer and the two are also known to have the same style of vocals.
On October 26, Kyuhyun relayed his excitement for his upcoming solo album and he sent over a video message from the set of his new music video.
The idol told fans, "This is the site of my third music video filming set. I have a feeling a masterpiece is in the works. I plan on holding solo concerts at Seoul's Ewha Womans University and at Busan's BEXCO, from October 29 to 30 and from November 5 to 6, respectively."
He continued, "I had hoped to visit several Asian countries, including Kuala Lumpur, but circumstances have made me unable to do so, and as a result, I want to apologize to those fans who may have waited for me. I believe that the domestic concerts this month and next month will be my last for this year. This fall, I will be releasing a new album, and I have always been thankful for the abundant love I have received. When I think about the new song I will be singing for you all, it makes me excited, so please listen to it a lot, and do not just enjoy it yourself, but spread it among the people you know. Everyone, I love you."
Kyuhyun is also set to be part of tvN's "New Journey to the West" as one of the two new cast members. The TV show will start shooting for its third season toward the end of October, and filming in China will also take place in November.
