Song Ji Hyo Thinks Cheating is the Same as Lying

Actress and "Running Man'' star, Song Ji Hyo, appeared as a guest on the October 24 episode of JTBC's "Abnormal Summit," allkpop reported.

She talked about her upcoming drama titled "This Week, My Wife is Cheating." When asked about her role, the actress responded, "The role is not so bad. Because the content is something people can empathize with, I think they will be able to enjoy watching it."

Song Ji Hyo also shared her personal thoughts on cheating. She said, "This is something I thought of while playing the role of a cheating wife: I think you can forgive an actor for cheating once. Is that abnormal? There is a prerequisite: it can only be once. I could think of it happening once as a mistake. But I cannot forgive cheating on me with the same woman twice." The actress also stated that she would ask the man upfront if she thinks he is cheating and considers cheating is the same as lying.

Song also revealed that she is against the idea of a divorce saying, "That is the final decision when you cannot find any other method."

In a recent interview with "Cosmopolitan," Song Ji Hyo already admitted that she cannot easily let go of some she loves even if that person does her wrong. She stated, "I do not think I would be able to let go of a person who I had been with for a long time because of just one mistake."

The actress shared what she does on her days off and she replied, "It is very simple. I just stay home."

Her co-star, Lee Sun Gyun, praised the actress for her bright personality. In a recent interview, he commented, "I think I see the charms of Song Ji Hyo that many people are in love with. She has a great personality, and in reality, she is way more beautiful and she is very pretty when she smiles."

The upcoming series "This Week, My Wife is Cheating" will air starting on October 28 at 8:30 PM KST.
