Apple's rose gold finish on their latest iPhone 6s has been very popular in the market pushing Samsung to release the latest color addition to their Galaxy smartphones, the pink gold finish, as Apple launches their iPhone 6s in South Korea on Oct. 23, noted Apple Insider on Thursday.

Last year, iPhone 6 sales dominated the international and Korean market over Samsung's Galaxy smartphones, trumping the Korean tech giant's reputation of spending billions to market their products or to keep their investments in superior smartphone development.

PC Mag Asia noted in their article today that Samsung announced this week the release of their Galaxy Note 5's new colors, the "titanium silver" and "pink gold," which appears to be almost identical to Apple's iPhone 6s "rose gold" variant, in addition to Note 5's "gold platinum," "black sapphire" and "white pearl" color options.

The latest color additions have not been confirmed to be available in the U.S. market, but will definitely be released in South Korea and will eventually be available to other Asian countries over time.

The stylish Samsung Galaxy Note 5 key features include a slim and sleek stylus called the S Pen and a fast charging wireless charger that only requires 120 minutes of charging time. It is also equipped with their latest mobile payment platform called the Samsung pay that allows for a safe and hassle-free method of paying through an NFC or a card reader.

According to MAC Observer on Friday, Samsung's product resemblance to some Apple devices has brought about several patent infringement lawsuits globally, where both brands have been accusing each other of imitating designs.

Apple emerged as the overall winner, with the U.S. courts ordering Samsung to pay more than $900 million in damages. With their loss on their appeal on the said ruling, Samsung is expected to take matters to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The iPhone 6s of Apple is set to be released this week in India, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Montenegro, South Africa and Turkey, and next week in Belarus, Guam, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine.
