Former EXO Member Wu Yi Fan Spotted In South Korea

Former EXO member, Kris or currently known as Wu Yi Fan, is gaining a lot of attention from netizens for his recent trip in South Korea.

Wu Yi Fan was spotted arriving at Incheon International Airport around 2PM on October 2. The actor and singer was seen looking handsome and trendy while wearing an all-black set of clothes including his trousers, hoodies, shoes, hats and face mask.

Wu Yi Fan was asked by the press waiting at the airport about his sudden return in South Korea.

"I came to Korea on a vacation with a friend. It's been awhile since I've seen Korean media," Wu Yi Fan said.

Wu Yi Fan is an actor, singer, rapper, and model in China. He is a former member of the popular South Korean boy group EXO. In 2014, Wu Yi Fan left the group and ended his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, which is the group's agency. Both parties reached an agreement and settlement after the contract dispute. SM Entertainment clarified that Kris will not be returning to EXO even his contract will be maintained until 2022. Wu Yi Fan is the first member to left the group followed by the two members, Luhan and Tao.

After Kris left the group, he started his solo career in China where he became one of the main casts in the movie "Somewhere Only We Know" and he released his first solo track entitled "Time Boils the Rain". Kris' career in China progress and he gained his popularity as a solo artist. He received many movie projects, endorsements, and promotions.

However, fans have expressed their sadness and anger after Kris left the group. There are many angry fans who bashed Kris and some felt sad on what happened to the group. After the departure of Wu Yi Fan from EXO, he did not visit frequently in South Korea.

Due to the sudden appearance of Kris in the country, Korean netizens reacted negatively regarding Wu Yi Fan's visit while some fans argued with Dispatch, a news website in South Korea, for referring to him as Kris instead of Wu Yi Fan.
