North Korea announces successful fifth nuke test.

North Korea disclosed on its state-run TV program that its fifth nuclear test was successfully conducted.

On Sept. 9, the announcement said "Scientists carried out a nuclear explosion test for the judgment of the power of a nuclear warhead newly studied and manufactured by them [DPRK] at the northern test ground."

The report also mentioned that the Ruling Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea congratulates the people behind the successful nuke test.

The fifth test is believed to have big impact in helping the nation produce "as many as it wants (of) a variety of smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear warheads of higher strike power."

The launched nuclear warhead can be mounted to ballistic missiles. Further, it was vouched that the improved weapon has no radioactive leakage and will not cause any adverse effect to the environment.

North Korea also hinted a warning that the "successful" test is a proof that the country is ready for an assault in case enemies, including the United States provoke.

The state report did not mentioned the exact date and place of the nuke test. Sources from Seoul disclosed that it occurred in the Punggye-ri nuclear test site close to China border. The South Korean military added that the 10 kilotons nuke warhead is the largest tested weapon by the capital so far, Korea Times reported.

Once again, state leaders condemn the act violating the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. The council addressed the test as a "clear threat to international peace and security."

U.S President Barack Obama emphasized the "consequences to [North Korea's] unlawful and dangerous actions."

In a telephone conversation of the U.S, Japan and South Korea leaders, they have agreed to make significant measures and news sanctions against North Korea, CNN reported.

President Park Geun-hye of South Korea described the act as "fanatically reckless." She added the president of North Korea, Kim Jong Un and his government would only acquire additional sanctions and isolation from a nuke test.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan labelled the test as "absolutely unacceptable."
