2NE1's Dara Choose BIGBANG as "Best Boyband in the World"

2NE1's Dara Park picked BIGBANG as the Best Boyband in the World during her interview at a TV show in the Philippines.

Dara was selected to be one of the judges in an upcoming reality tv show in the Philippines entitled "Pinoy Boyband Superstar".

Dara was recently in the Philippines and as part of her schedule, she made a guesting appearance on a late night show titled "Tonight With Boy Abunda" where she was interviewed about her career and plans.

Dara or Sandara Park was born in Busan, South Korea. In 1995, Dara's family moved to the Philippines after her father's bussiness closed down. Dara gained popularity in the Philippines after she joined a talent show entitled "Star Circle Quest". After recovering from their financial difficulties, Dara and her family went back to South Korea.

In May 2009, Dara debuted as a member of the K-pop group 2NE1 under YG Entertainment. 2NE1 rapidly gained fame around the world with their hit songs like Fire, I Don't Care, Ugly and many more. However, recently, one of the member named Minzy left the group due to her personal reasons.

The late night talk show is famous for its segment called "Fast Talk". It is a question and answer portion where you just need to answer fast. One of the questions asked to Dara is "Best Boyband in the World". Without any hesitation, the K-pop star directly reply, "BIGBANG". 

Dara's blatant and fast reply to the question garnered attention to her fans around the world because of her loyalty to fellow YG Entertainment Artists.

The interview continued with fun and shocking revelations about Dara's favorite food, actor, places, and song in the Philippines. Dara also sang a line from her favorite Filipino song entitled "Dadalhin Ka". 

BIGBANG and 2NE1 has been in good terms and established friendship due to lots of projects where they worked together. YG Entertainment considered the two K-pop groups as a high rank groups in the Korean Entertainment Industry.
