‘Styx: Master Of Shadows’ Sequel Confirmed; Game Coming To PS4, Xbox One, And PC!
The Focus Home Interactive stealth game, 'Styx: Master of Shadows' will be getting a sequel in the future. There will be plans for bigger and better gameplay for this sequel.
'Styx: Master of Shadows' was a stealth game developed by Cyanide Studios and published by Focus Home Interactive and was launched last year. It did not get high scores from major game review sites, but not lower as well. The developer and publisher are now proud to announce that there will be a sequel in the future and will be called 'Styx: Shards of Darkness', according to a report by Gamespot.
Cyanide Studios gets ambitious as it promises that the game will have "more ambition" and "bigger ideas". This confidence is backed up with the game's bigger budget compared to the original game, 'Styx: Master of Shadows'. The game will also run with a new engine too, which will be Unreal Engine 4. The old game only used the Unreal Engine 3.
There will also be some new enemies, environments, and many more to look forward to. The main character, Styx, will also have brand new abilities like grappling around corners, climb ropes, and use a knife to zip-wire, according to PC Gamer.
"Following the fall of Akenash tower, an extraordinary matter has forced Styx out of hiding to infiltrate Körangar, the city of the Dark Elves" according to a news article from Focus Home Interactive. " Supposedly impregnable, a diplomatic summit offers Styx a chance at slipping in unnoticed, as he learns that the event is nothing but a mere facade..."
The news article added, "Moreover, the Elves have joined forces with the Dwarves, and the only thing both races have in common is a mutual hatred of the Goblins..."
'Styx: Master of Shadows' sequel 'Shards of Darkness' will be launched across PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2016. No specific release date yet.
'Styx: Master of Shadows' is up for grabs on PC now and with a discount.
