North Korea Lessens Warning Time For Nuclear Attack on US
The US government is greatly worried about North Korea's advancement of weapons have suddenly decreased the warning time for a nuclear attack on US and its other allied countries according to the officials from United States.
North Korea now poses a practical threat rather than theoretical threat according to the latest intelligence thinking of one US official due to the country's aggressive testing of medium and its long range missiles.
Moreover, North Korea no longer cares if the world sees the test failures that they conduct. Pyongyang is now allowed to aggressively and openly repeat the testing of all the key components needed for an attack.
According to the US official, North Korea has the ability to control the US and its other allied countries with nuclear weapons.
"When you have this many tests, you are eventually going to get it right. That's what concerns me. As soon as they have one test that they could classify as an extreme success, then we are talking a whole different ballgame (in) their potential to threaten other sovereign nations in their area but also potentially parts of the United States," a CNN military analyst and retired Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling said.
Recently, North Korea has achieved warhead miniaturization and US is currently working on this assumption.
In the recent testing of missiles conducted by North Korea, it has fired submarine launched missiles, mobile missiles that are impossible to track, and intercontinental missiles that can reach Alaska.
Furthermore, North Korea's nuclear testing site shows a canopy that blocks the view of spy satellites of US.
There is no early warning according to some officials and the most alarming for them is the intermediate-range launch conducted recently by North Korea which reached within the 150 miles of Japan coastline after a few seconds of its flight.
