Frank Ocean's new album, hyped for release last July 2015, is yet to see the light of day. The Guardian points out that some fans are growing impatient, and the artist's silence is not helping at all.

Back in April, a cryptic post with a '#july2015' tag fanned the flames of speculation about an upcoming album. This was the only assumption fans could make of the post, considering that the last album he released was back in 2012. But as days and months passed, Frank still kept any comments about the album to himself.

But not talking about the alleged album is not the only thing that really annoyed fans who were waiting for Frank's LP to drop. Instead of apologies, or a simple post confirming or denying the existence of the album, he made it a habit to troll his fans by posting useless sound bites, uploading old songs and renaming them, and posting empty audio sets to Soundcloud. Frank Ocean is probably loving the attention, but his fans are slowly getting tired of his antics.

Complex compiled a few posts on social media about Frank's missing album, and they are a mix of sadness and rage, with a lot of fans feeling betrayed by its absence. Perhaps the biggest act of trolling was when his brother claimed that the album has finally surfaced, only for them to find out that they were rickroll'd.

The fans are grasping on whatever they can hold on to, to the point that they are even pestering Frank Ocean's mom just to get an update on the album. Despite getting a reassurance from his mom that an album is on the way, fans really have no way of telling.

Frank is one of the most enigmatic artists today, quitting Twitter after the release of his last LP, and not having an official Facebook page to keep his fans posted.
