‘House Of Cards’ Season 4 Spoilers: Frank’s Dark Past Haunts Him; War With Claire Looms!

A new clip for "House of Cards" teased some spoilers as Frank and Claire's squabble seems to have escalated into a full-blown hostility.

Meanwhile, the dark portion of Frank Underwood-when he killed former lover Zoe Barnes and caused the death of Peter Russo-will reportedly come back to haunt her.

In the clip, shared on The Hollywood Reporter, Frank Underwood's voice can be heard along with a montage of scenes.

"You have no idea what it means to have nothing. You don't value what we have achieved. I have had to fight for everything my entire life," the disembodied voice says.

Frank can then be seen telling Claire, "We had a future 'till you started destroying it."

Claire walked out on Frank in the last season and throwing all her contributions back at his face when she told him, "I should never have made you President. However, the cliffhanger of the ending in "House of Frank" season 3 left a lot of room for speculation.

And that tension will also create a lot of opportunities for the writers to pit two Alphas against each other.

"We had a lot of challenges, not just in terms of what obstacles Frank will face, but also what is the nature of this union between Francis and Claire?" showrunner Beau Willimon said. "Every season we've seen them change, evolve, grow deeper, run into conflicts,"

According to the "House of Cards" season 4 spoilers from Yibada, "There are very mysterious images in the trailer, which suggest that the past may catch up with the President at last. Underwood had murdered Barnes to silence her, when she wanted to expose him and derail his bid for the White House."

The clip also showed Peter Russo and while it could just be a flashback scene that can create denouement for Frank Underwood, it could also portent of karma biting Kevin Spacey's character's bum.

"House of Cards" season 4 premiere date will be on March 4, 2016. There should be plenty of spoilers before then.
