‘Outlander’ Stars Sam Heughan And Caitriona Balfe Prepares To Reveal Real Relationship Status?
Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have already denied that they are dating, but that didn't stop the tabloids from continue to speculate on real relationship status of the "Outlander" stars.
A new article from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, harped on how the two actors treat each other.
"Sam has been seen whispering what we think are sweet nothings in Caitriona's ear while waiting for filming to resume on the set of 'Outlander,'" the article alleged. "It could have been a little joke shared between work buddies because whatever Heughan murmured in Caitriona's ear made her giggle an extra on set previously revealed."
Also, CDL claimed that in between takes in the "Outlander," Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were holding hands and lost into their own world.
Nevertheless, both actors have denied that their relationship extends beyond friendship.
In an interview with E! News, Caitriona Balfe said she's not dating Sam Heughan despite what "Outlander" fans might expect.
"We're not together," she said. "It's funny. We've always said from the get go that we're incredibly great friends. And to have that friendship and that closeness and to be able to get along as we do on set, it's great that we're able to get along that well.
"I'm sorry to break people's hearts. They like to try to maybe replicate the Claire and Jamie story. But I think it would be difficult for us to work together and be together," she said.
Sam Heughan also confirmed Caitriona Balfe's statement, while also crediting their chemistry on "Outlander."
"I think it's strange, isn't it?" he said. "Because I think people buy into the show and us saying it's not real, they feel like they've been duped. It's like, 'You acted it. You lied to us!' And I'm like, 'Well, sorry!'"
"Outlander" season 2 will come back to STARZ on April 9. Apart from Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, the series also stars Tobias Menzies, Graham McTavish, Lotte Verbeek, Gary Lewis, Duncan Lacroix, Grant O'Rourke, Stephen Walters and Bill Patterson.
