Ryan Reynolds Hates ‘X-Men Origins’ Version Of 'Deadpool'; Actor Ready To Rock Sequel After Huge Movie Success

Ryan Reynolds' "Deadpool" is all over the news headlines right after its record-breaking hit success during the President's week. Meanwhile, the actor now compared his character portrayal to "X-Men Origins" version.

According to a report, "Deadpool" became the first R-rated movie ever to break $100 million on its first weekend as opening with its $135 million.

Reynolds proved that an R-rated superhero movie and "Deadpool" will really work. Hence, as early as now, people are already expecting for a sequel.

According to Collider, "Deadpool 2" is already on the cue as 20th Century Fox will be announcing its release date soon.

The "Deadpool" production staff, especially the writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, are already working on the script, and have teased fans that on the next sequel they will be bringing the character of Cable. Furthermore, they are already casting stars for roles and even planning the budget.

"We don't want $150 million to go make the next movie, that's not Deadpool. Deadpool doesn't lift cities up into the air or battle aliens coming down to earth, that's just not Deadpool. So we're happy in that little small budget range that they have us in; we don't wanna blow this next one out," Wernick shared.

On the other hand, despite the huge success and acceptance of fans of the new "Deadpool" character, Reynolds shared in one of his interview that he did not liked the way how "Deadpool" was before especially in "X-Men Origins".

"It was a very frustrating experience.I was already attached to the "Deadpool" movie. We hadn't at that point written a script yet. [Origins] came along and it was sort of like, 'Play Deadpool in this movie or we'll get someone else to.' And I just said, 'I'll do it, but it's the wrong version. Deadpool isn't correct in it," Reynolds recalled.

Despite his sentiments, it seems like Ryan Reynolds still needs to thank "X-Men Origins" as it has helped pave way for his "Deadpool" to hit box-office records.
