‘Mass Effect Andromeda’ News, Release Date, Updates: What Will Happen Now That Lead Writer Left BioWare?
“Mass Effect Andromeda” is one of the highly anticipated games being released this year. Unfortunately, an unexpected piece of news may delay the debut as it involves the departure of the game’s lead writer.
Geek reported that last February 16, core writer Chris Schlerf confirmed through the social media Twitter that he has left BioWare to work for Bungie, the creator of “Destiny”
To confirm what some folks asked about a few months back, I am no longer working on ME:A at BioWare Montreal.

Sincerely one of the best experiences of my career-I'm incredibly grateful to have worked w/ such talented & truly wonderful human beings. — schlerf (@schlerf) February 16, 2016
Think MEA is really gonna blow people away; couldn't be prouder to be part of it, & excited like a lil kid to play the final when it's out. — schlerf (@schlerf) February 16, 2016
All that said, very happy to be back in Seattle, working with this scrappy little company called Bungie that some of you may have heard of. — schlerf (@schlerf) February 16, 2016
Think we might have some interesting stories to tell...

Schlerf was reported to have worked with the creator of “Halo 4” before he joined BioWare to start “Mass Effect Andromeda” two years ago. As he is the lead writer, will this affect the main vision of the project?
BioWare may include the Paragon/Renegade system to keep the game binary, The Bit Bag wrote. However, some fans were reportedly not happy with the system as it sometimes goes to “autopilot," making it more of a nuisance than a feature.
But MNR Daily wrote it may become even bigger as it explores uncharted regions using unfamiliar characters. It was reported that it may be the “Star Wars” of all games.
“Mass Andromeda Effect” may be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this fall.
