Microsoft Surface Phone Rumors, Release Date, News: Tablet-Like Smartphone To Surpass, Replace Lumia 650?
Microsoft Surface may be the next best smartphone to hit the market; and if rumors are true, there is a possibility that it will be the company’s replacement to the Lumia 650.
PC Tablet reported that when Microsoft bought Nokia in 2014, the company persistently is producing and marketing the various selection of smartphones. For this year, it is reported that it will follow the same tactic but with better design, features, and a heftier price tag.
Microsoft Surface is rumored to be the company’s flagship smartphone, adding in a mixture of what the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book offered. It was also rumored that Intel will be joining in the production of this project.
With a promising gadget in sight, the only reported problem will be it can divert the attention and interest of people from the newly released Microsoft Lumia 650.
Geekwire wrote that ever since CEO Satya Nadella announced that the company will soon focus on flagship smartphones, the Lumia sales plummeted. Apparently, it did not matter that the Lumia 650 has a reported 5-inch 720p OLED display, only weighs 122 grams, and Gorilla Glass protected. It was also reported that the phone has a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera.
Tech Crunch reported that even the reception for the Lumia 650 was lukewarm after the rumors of a Microsoft Surface phone was in the works. When Lumia 950 or the Lumia 950 XL was released last year, most people were reportedly impressed. However, this his was not the case for the latest Lumia.
When it was released in the European market, Microsoft made an effort to launch it for the business users with an affordable price, eWeek wrote. It was reportedly designed to make first and business class meet.

Unfortunately, the Microsoft Surface phone's impending debut, though no official date yet, has reportedly killed the chance of the Lumia 650 to survive.
