The 19-year-old "KC Undercover" lead walked the red carpet at this year's Grammy Awards, but reportedly declined an interview with Giuliana Rancic. The latter was blasted last year when she commented at an episode of "Fashion Police" that Zendaya's dreadlocks during the 2015 Grammy Awards made it seem like she "smelled like patchouli oil or weed."
Even though the statuesque host has apologized numerous times for her alleged offensive joke, Giuliana Rancic was still avoided by Zendaya when they returned to the annual music awards night on Monday. The singer-actress was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest instead.
"Zendaya's team would not allow Giuliana to interview her," an insider said. "They never will!"
The source even revealed that the 41-year-old TV personality "has been desperate" to apologize to the Disney talent. However, there are allegedly people who are intentionally keeping Giuliana Rancic away from Zendaya.
