Cote De Pablo’s Ziva Returns In ‘NCIS’ Season 13 For Closure With Tony? Show Ignores Fans?
As several rumors relative to the possibility of Cote de Pablo returning to "NCIS" season 13 as Ziva continue to make headlines, some fans have shared their own preference on how the series' plot must go especially now that Michael Weatherly is already on his way out.
Commenting on a previous report by Korea Portal, Stormy Winter pointed out that the well-loved special agent must join Scottie Thompson when she comes back as Tony DiNozzo's former girlfriend Jeanne Benoit.
"I would like to see both Ziva and Jeanne Benoit return, possibly one or the other closing out the relationship with Tony," the CBS series' fan wrote. "Theoretically, Benoit has happily remarried."
The said reader continued by saying that it would be nice to see both Cote de Pablo's Ziva and Thompson's Jeanne Benoit return, "possibly one or the other closing out the relationship with Tony" during the run of "NCIS" season 13.
"Theoretically, Benoit has happily remarried," the said reader added. "But most of all, I would like to see the writers handle Tony's departure in such a way that he might return for occasional guest-star roles on the series."
This proposal of Stormy Winter was similar to what Sue wanted to experience in the police procedural TV drama.
"I would love for Ziva to come back and stay,Tony could get his on team and make guest a appearance on special cases,that way him and Ziva could be together," Sue noted relative to the highly-clamored return of Cote de Pablo as Ziva in "NCIS" season1 3.
Meanwhile, Sandi Brooks claimed that the "Showrunners vindictively chose to ignore fans after using them for viewership."
On the other hand, HW Hills revealed in its "NCIS" season 13 episode 16 spoilers that "Doctor Cyril Taft (Jon Cryer) is going to experience the rush of an NCIS case after he is assigned surgical duty to Gibb's suspect and discovers key evidence."
Moreover, DiNozzo will be visiting Benoit "as he chases a lead involving doctors in Sudan" on the episode that will be aired on Feb. 23.
