Should Fans Stop Hoping For Cote De Pablo’s Ziva’s Return To ‘NCIS’ Season 13? Returning Cast Named
Do you think "NCIS" fans must already stop hoping that Cote de Pablo's character Ziva David is still returning for the show's season 13?
It can be noted that several reports and speculations have been headlining, probably because a number of fans of the CBS television series are still holding on to whatever hope is left.
Back in January, it can be recalled that TV Line revealed about the non-inclusion of plans for the well-loved character's return.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena, CBS entertainment president Glenn Geller disclosed that "there are 'not currently' plans" for Cote de Pablo to come back as Ziva David in "NCIS" season 13 even with the exit of Michael Weatherly, who portrays the role of Special Agent Tony DiNozzo, the actress' love interest in the series.
The present season's finale will mark the departure of Michael Weatherly, one of the four remaining original cast members of the American police procedural TV drama, in which he has been part of for 13 years.
In the meantime, a recent TV Line "NCIS" season 13-related poll pointed out that 32 percent of its respondents would like to see "Tony reunite with former agent Ziva David (played by Cote de Pablo) before riding off into the sunset, while 22 percent preferred to see him leave D.C. to head up his own NCIS team elsewhere."
On the other hand, Christian Today stated in its "NCIS" season 13 spoilers that some cast members are coming back.
In the episode "React," which will air on Feb. 16, Joe Spano will be back as Senior FBI Agent T.C. Fornell while Leslie Hope will play the role of Secretary of the Navy Sarah Porter.
On Feb. 23, the site's "NCIS" season 13 spoilers claimed that John Cryer will return as Dr. Cyril Taft for the episode "Loose Cannons." Meanwhile, Scottie Thompson will come back as Tony DiNozzo's former girlfriend Jeanne Benoit.
With these cast members returning, would they be enough to make "NCIS" season 13 exciting? Or, would it be more exciting if Cote de Pablo will be around as Ziva David before Michael Weatherly leaves the show?
