Katy Perry, Taylor Swift Feud Far From Over Even After ‘Roar’ Singer Raises White Flag?
It looks like feud between Katy Perry and her BFF Taylor Swift is very much on despite Orlando Bloom's rumored girlfriend reaching out to Calvin Harris' sweetheart.
A few days ago, the beef between the singers seemed to have vanished after Perry invited Swift to the pre-Grammys party she hosted with Spotify dubbed as "An Evening to Celebrate the Creators" last February 13.
The "Roar" singer told the NYT that Swift and Adele - who have both withheld their music from Spotify - have been invited.
"It's just up to their schedules," said Perry.
Per The Hollywood Gossip, "sources said Katy had decided to get Taylor's back in the wake of Kanye West's misogynistic diss, and offer an olive branch as a show of feminine solidarity."
The party was open only to singers, songwriters, producers and other creators in the music industry.
"In some ways, I'm trying to start the Met Ball of music," the 31-year-old told The New York Times about the endeavor.
But it seems there is no way of stopping the feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.
Calvin Harris' girlfriend was noticeably absent from Perry's party. Also, the latter did not show up at the Grammys as she had other plans on one of the biggest nights of the music industry.
"In my pajamas, eating matzo ball soup. No makeup, glad I'm not in a corset. Vicks cream on," Perry explained in an interview with The New York Times about her plans on the night of the Grammys.
But The Hollywood Gossip had a different view on the "Dark Horse" singer's absence during the event hinting that she skipped the night as it was about "all about Taylor."
The rivalry between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift has become beyond professional as they also previously dated the same guy in the person of John Mayer.
