Several news reports claimed that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are already getting married.
According to a report by "InTouch Weekly" magazine (via The Telegraph), the 37-year-old actress and the 48-year-old actor are allegedly planning for a wedding away from public eye.
"They've discussed eloping or having a small, quiet wedding in an out-of-the-way place," a friend reportedly revealed. "They're happy."
While the former "Dawson's Creek" star and the "Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses" actor have not said a word about their rumoured engagement and wedding, a representative of the actress has reportedly debunked such reports.
In the meantime, the news report hinted that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have made their romance a secret since she is afraid of how his former husband, Tom Cruise, would react should he find out about it.
"She's terrified," an unnamed source told the magazine. "She's afraid that he'll be angry that Suri will have a new father figure and come crashing back into her and Suri's lives."
Suri is the nine-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. The ex-couple ended their marriage in 2012.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that in March last year, the "Django Unchained" actor denied that he was dating Katie Holmes, as shared by TMZ.

"She loves clothing. She even had her own fashion line," the designer shared. "We text ideas to each other. We thought, 'Do we do a gown, a suit? Brooks [Brothers, where Posen is a creative consultant] tonight.' But we decided she needed to bring the glamour."
