Joker In 'Suicide Squad' Friend Or Enemy? Jared Leto's Character In Movie Revealed
People are already amazed and expecting so much from Jared Leto as he portrayed the supervillain Joker in "Suicide Squad," but it is still unclear if Joker will be a villain or a superhero-villain for the movie.
Leto has been on the headlines since "Suicide Squad" was officially announced to be released this year due to his outstanding portrayal of supervillain and the archenemy of Batman.
His portrayal of the infamous Clown Prince of Crime has reportedly made "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer freak out a few times, saying his hairs on the back of his neck stood up because of Leto's performance.
Despite the flood of news Joker has made, there is still no final announcement whether he would be part of the villain-turned-superhero pack or will continue to act as super villain during the movie.
According to one report, fans can expect Jared Leto's Joker will be based purely on "The Dark Knight Returns" version. The Joker in "Suicide Squad" will have the same look with the Joker in "The Dark Knight Returns". Furthermore, Joker has killed one of Batman's sidekick.
In connection, another report claimed that Leto's Joker will be playing a different role in this film.
With the trailer that was released, there are lots of speculations. One of those are saying that Joker will be used by Amanda Waller as a bait to keep Harley Quinn and other members of the squad to keep on track and follow the orders provided to them. Moreover, same report claimed that Cara Delevingne's Enchantress might be the enemy of the squad and not Joker.
In addition to it, it's hard to speculate that Joker will be sideline only in the film as he is the first character that was used for marketing in the first place.
To prove that, during the Valentine's season, "Suicide Squad" has recently released "Drive me insane, Valentine" card featuring Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's Joker.
