'Guardians Of The Galaxy' 2 To Introduce New Guardian; Pom Klementieff Cast as Mantis?

Fans are expecting to have the five guardians, including Star-Lord, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Groot, and Rocket, to lead the "Guardians Of The Galaxy" 2, but reports claimed that another guardian is about to be introduced in this second installment.

To most of the people, the guardians are just consisting of five human-alien individuals, but for the hardcore fans who read the comics, they believed they knew that there are more than these five people. And, guess hardcore-fans are right as it was confirmed that at least a new member will be added to the line-up.

James Gunn, the director of the second film installment revealed during his Facebook video Q&A. He praised one of the actresses complimenting her and mentioning she will be the new Guardian of the Galaxy.

"We have a new cast member playing a new member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and she was the most awesome and easiest person I've ever had to cast. She blew me away. She's amazing, and I can't wait to share her with the world," Gunn stated.

According to a report, Gunn is pointing to Mantis, who has a mysterious connection with the Guardians, and at the same time, to the Avengers.

Though, there have been no words yet from Gunn and the rest of the cast who will be playing Mantis, fans are already speculating it would be Pom Klementieff as she is the only actress being casted who is known by many, not unless Gunn secretly added an unannounced celebrity.

Currently, director James Gunn and some of the casts of "Guardians of the Galaxy" 2 have been starting to shoot the film in Atlanta. The cast, which includes Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, and Michael Rooker, was revealed to be still rehearsing in some photos posted by the director on his official social media account.
