With not enough Linsanity making an impact on the court, analysts are now pondering on the idea that it could be Jeremy Lin's last season with the Charlotte Hornets.

"Lin doesn't look happy. Doesn't look like he understands why he's been hit hard in terms of rotation and minutes following the Cavaliers game," Sportige.com wrote.

According to the site, the team may be choosing to play Lin but are prioritizing other players who were more likely to stick with the team.

However, the site said that nothing is certain yet. The 27-year-old athlete's contract is open to a lot of possibilities.

The Hornets are currently at 27 wins and 26 losses, with a 117-95 win against the Indiana Pacers last Wednesday being the team's latest.

Several sports news outlets have noticed the amount of time Lin is (or is not) clocking in.

Sportsrageous said "the Asian-American guard was a key player off the bench" and noted Lin's breakaway dunk as one of the major highlights of the game against the Pacers. The video of the dunk was posted at Sportsrageous.

Swarm and Sting said the game against Cleveland showed "glimpses of Linsanity," as Charlotte Hornets point guard Jeremy Lin took advantage of Kemba Walker's time off to heal his knee injury.

"In Walker's absence, Lin led the Charlotte Hornets in scoring and had one of his best all-around games on the year," the site said.

Jeremy's role in the recent games have been in a sixth man capacity.

"In Jeremy Lin's past three games in which he has played over 30 minutes for the team, he is averaging 23.3 points per game, eight assists per game, and 5.6 rebounds per game," Swarm and Sting noted.

"He is also shooting a remarkable 44.8% from the field and 46.1% from the three-point line in those last three games," of Lin's performance.

The sports sites believe coaches at the Charlotte Hornets should grant Jeremy Lin more than 30-minute playing times so he can find the rhythm that could revive the Linsanity he showed off before.
