‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Update: Players Set To Get Double XPs While DICE Teases ‘Promising Developments’

The latest "Star Wars Battlefront" community update revealed that the daily challenges were completed.

DICE and EA announced that a total of 4,356,026 daily challenges were played via the community's mission. As a reward to players, all XPs achieved this weekend will be doubled.

"The community stepped up and once again surpassed the goal and completed 4,356,026 Daily Challenges," EA wrote on its announcement, as shared by Express UK.

"As promised, your reward is a 2X Bonus Weekend that is going to kick off on February 12th. The 2X bonus will remain active through Valentine's Day, so make sure to get your special someone a copy of Star Wars Battlefront and lovingly help them reach level 50.

According to VG247, earned XPs can be converted to credits that can be used to purchase in-game unlocks.

"Star Wars Battlefront" players are also to set to receive another community update relating to the next event that involves Princess Leia as daily challenges will resume on Feb. 16.

Recently, January's free dlc added daily challenges and community events in order to balance the overall tweaks on weapons and multiplayer

"The introduction of Daily Challenges and Community Events are designed to rally the Community around certain goals and objectives, giving players the chance to earn credits and unlocks even faster," PlayStation blog wrote.

"We'll have more news regarding Community Events and Daily Challenges in the days ahead,"

In addition, Tatooine Survival map was also improved to support Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes.

EA and DICE also laid out their plans on the upcoming Season Pass which will add two dlc this year and another one in 2017, as well as free expansions.

Reportedly, the "Star Wars Battlefront" February update will bring a free multiplayer map playable on offline multiplayer game mode.

Although a specific release date is yet to be announced for this upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront" update, Dennis Branvall of DICE assured fans that "promising developments" are set to arrive this month, according to Express UK.
