Tom Cruise' 'Mission Impossible 6' To Start Filming Soon For 2017 Release? Rebecca Ferguson Returns As Leading Lady
After the success of "Rogue Nation," Tom Cruise's "Mission Impossible 6" is already highly anticipated with Rebecca Ferguson as his reported leading lady.
"Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" was loved by many critics. It is a solid action movie which has once again topped box office with worldwide sales of more than $600 million.
According to a report, Paramount wanted Cruise to shoot for "MI:6" as early as this summer with plans of releasing the next movie series in June or July of 2017.
Though there have been no clear dates for the release, Cruise shared in an interview that he will start to film the pulse-racing action movie by summer of this year.
Another reason for fans to become more excited is the comeback of leading lady Rebecca Ferguson after "Mission Impossible" director Christopher McQuarrie confirmed her appearance, along with his revelation to direct the sixth installment.
Ferguson is set to return as Ilsa Faust who will complete the cast of mostly male characters who are played by Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner.
McQuarrie promised the fans that with this sixth sequel of the action-movie, he will be directing it in a different style from the previous film he directed.
"My desire as a filmmaker is to always be a better filmmaker than I was on the previous film. I'm not a filmmaker interested in stasis. I really want to grow and push myself," said McQuarrie.
While there has been no word for Tom Cruise' "Mission Impossible 6." it won't take long for another sequel to hit the big screens given the fact it is in Paramount's priority list.
