'Go F*ck Yourself,' Ryan Reynolds Tells X-Men; 'Deadpool' To Focus On X-Force
Ryan Reynolds' "Deadpool" is not yet released, but the main actor is already itching to work on getting the sequel, referring to an X-force movie.
Reynolds said in an interview that he believes that there's a part of the X-men universe that has not been explored yet and that includes X-Force, saying that it is his number one list in his priorities in the future. He even added that he really wants to get his hands on to it.
When he was asked about "Deadpool," Reynolds said that "X-Men: Days of the Future Past" or its timeline don't have anything to do with it.
"If it were Deadpool, he could tell 'Days of Future Past' to take its timeline and go fuck itself. We make fun of the timelines in the movie, but Deadpool is not affected by that at all," said Deadpool's actor.
He even added that "Deadpool" for him is his own thing, his own universe outside X-Men.
Is Reynolds already dropping hints for a potential part two of his superhero movie?
In a report, X-Force movie was already discussed to Reynolds. The actor then nominate Cable, the son of X-men members Madelyne Pryor and Cyclops to lead the team and not his Deadpool character.
"I always see Deadpool running against the grain for everything he does. He can't possibly conform to any sort of leadership role. He always has to be the wild card. So you'd have to have someone like Cable running point on a team like X-Force. I'd love for that to be a next step that we take," he explained.
The said members of the elite X-Force team will be Psylocke, Cyclops, Wolverine, and even Domino.
"There aren't really many definitive Deadpool villains, apart from Cable. If we don't put Cable in "Deadpool" 2 I think we'll be run out of town on a rail,"director Tim Miller said in a different interview.
If Ryan Reynolds' "Deadpool" makes a box-office record this coming February 12 when it hits the cinemas, the possibility for a sequel or X-Force movie is definitely huge.
