Green Arrow Movie Cast, News: Charlie Hunnam To Abandon 'Pacific Rim 2' For DC Role?
Among the much anticipated movies in the comic book world is the most talked about "Justice League" film. As to who will take over the role as Green Arrow in the movie, it is still yet to be decided until now. However, Charlie Hunnam is said to be the closest pick for the role.
While there is still no confirmation yet if the well-embraced superhero characer will return or not, Hunnam's name is now pinned to the possibility that he might grab the DC role and abandon "Pacific Rim 2."
Along with the hopes of the fans to see Green Arrow in the upcoming "Justice League" film, will Charlie Hunnam accept the role if given the offer?
The speculations about the "Sons of Anarchy" actor possibly playing as Green Arrow in the movie first sparked after previous reports claimed that the character won't be included in the upcoming DC project.
The Inquisitr reported in July 2015 that many fans were enraged following Warner Brothers' decision not to include Green Arrow in the movie version of "The Justice League."
The news site stated, "an online petition was launched recently by fans of Charlie Hunnam asking DC and Warner Brothers to cast him as Green Arrow in The Justice League Part One movie, slated to release in November next year."
It added, "Charlie Hunnam enthusiasts who were disappointed with DC's decision not to feature Green Arrow in the big screen version of The Justice League,"
As the online petition came into view, insisting that Green Arrow should still be included in the big movie and that Hunnam fits the role best, it was then followed with rumors that claimed the 35-year old actor may set aside his role in the "Pacific Rim 2" and accept the DC role.
The petition posted on Change.org reads, "We want to see Warner Brothers finally do something right when it comes to DC comicbook movies. So start by casting the right actor with the right part."
Charlie Hunnam has plenty of projects in the row that includes his major role in the "Pacific Rim 2" as Raleigh Becket. Will he be willing to abandon his role in the movie to take over the role as Green Arrow in the upcoming "Justice League" film?
