'The Conjuring 2' Plot, Release Date News: Sequel Takes On Enfield Poltergeist; Cast Member Patrick Wilson Shares Shooting Experience In London

James Wan's "The Conjuring" will take the audience into another world of haunting as he releases "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist." The first trailer of the sequel has been released and it looks promising as the US investigators head to North London to save the life of a little girl.

Fans of the highly-anticipated sequel have been waiting for news and updates. They believe that the film will have more suspense and thrilling scenes than the first one.

"The Enfield haunting is one of the most famous supposed poltergeist incidents in the UK, and the Warrens were among the string of investigators who visited the property in the 19 months during the haunting between 1977 and 1979," Telegraph reported.

The story continues as the famous and expert demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren continue to battle against evil. The two will be helping a haunted family in Northern London as a little girl gets targeted by the demons.

"The Conjuring" was based in a true to life story based on the Warrens who started the New England Society For Psychic Research in 1952.

"The couple claimed to have investigated more than 10,000 hauntings during their careers. They also founded the New England Society for Psychic Research and the Occult Museum, both in Connecticut," Warrens.net reported.

Meanwhile, Patrick Wilson comes back to play Ed Warrens and he shared his experience while filming "The Conjuring" and said that the shooting went well and that nothing terrifying happened back then.

"It's been great. I love it. I really do," Wilson said in an interview. "I've never been to Wilmington, but I lived in Charlotte as a kid, and I've got family outside of Rock Hill, so North Carolina's always been pretty special to me. I used to camp every summer in Asheville out by Black Mountain for years."

Vera Farmiga will be returning to reprise her role as Lorraine Warrens. Madison Wolfe will be playing the 13-year-old girl who will be haunted by the poltergeist.

"The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist" will be premiering in June.
