Even the Man of Steel needs to work out.

"Batman V Superman" actor Henry Cavill's buff body has made rounds on the internet faster than a speeding bullet. The 32-year-old updated fans of the Man of Steel about the progress of his workout through his Instagram account.

"Warm up phase for Superman training started today! Posting this pic to set myself a minimum goal...and force myself to actually keep going haha!" Cavill said in the Instagram post.

The internet exploded, with fans of various ages and genders sharing the photo of the actor's body through various social media.

Henry Cavill said the Instagram post was among his first updates on his Superman training regimen for the days leading to the premiere of "Batman V Superman." Clearly, his role required his body to catch up with the image of the superhero.

Just Jared praised Cavill's "amazing physique," and said that fans would like to hear (and see) more from the actor.

"We sure hope that Henry will be giving us more progress reports throughout his training. See some more of his recent social media pics in the gallery," it said.

"If that's the minimum goal, we can't wait to see what his personal best will be," Glamour Magazine noted wrote.

On Henry Cavill's Instagram post, one fan said, "There is nothing I don't love about this."

Another also noted, "ohhhh. Myyyyyy. Gawd!!!! I literally just drooled (sic)."

Last year, images of Cavill's workout regimen also made rounds online, and Inquisitr said this was proof that the actor is more than a pretty face.

"Back then, the 32-year-old was just another pretty face on TV, but how things have changed for the shy man who is now famous for playing Superman," the site wrote.

"The most impressive thing is how Henry Cavill's workout routine has helped him become the famous superhero and silence those critics who said a British guy could not possibly play Superman."

Henry Cavill appears alongside Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot in the upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."
