A famous food blogger at Tabelog traveling around the United States evaluated various Korean barbecue restaurants and identified Breakers Korean BBQ in Duluth, Georgia as the best in the country.

"The restaurant oozes sophistication and class and offers a zen-like environment," complimented Tabelog for the atmosphere inside the restaurant. "White booths, low lighting, bamboo chandeliers and ceramic pottery displayed throughout make up the décor."

Moreover, the food adventurers praised the said fine dining restaurant for their "superior meat products such as five layer pork belly, 21 day aged short ribs" and for their use of "ribeye instead of the traditional tenderloin for their bulgogi."

Breakers Korean BBQ has been receiving recognition for their specialty barbecue, edging other Korean restaurants for the top post,  listed The Atlanta Journal Constitution. Also in the top nine are Belly Q in Chicago, 678 Hawaii in Honolulu, Palsaik Korean BBO in Los Angeles, Seorabol Korean Restaurant in Philadelphia, Mama's House in Indianapolis, Yu Tan Gil in Dallas, Miss Korea in New York City and Gabose Korean BBQ in Lauderhill.

The AJC food blog pointed out key differences between Breakers and other barbecue restaurants. The author firstly commended the said eatery for being able to eliminate the sticky odor emitted by smoked meats that is prevalent in most barbecue places.

"Breakers may have the least smell of any restaurant you've ever been in, despite the fact that the food is cooked at your table," stated Williams who later confessed that he somewhat liked the barbecue smell on his clothes unlike most people.

The lack of smell is attributed to the propane-fired, cast-iron cooker that is distributed to each table and is fitted with a ventilation system that vacuums the scent of smoke before it reaches a customer's nose.

Secondly, although other restaurants might have been closely performing the same ritual of serving dishes, the author particularly verbalized his amazement to Breakers' "long succession of plates" of side dishes and a "parade of meat that never seems to end."

Breakers Korean Barbecue serves paper-thin briskets, lightly smoked pork belly crisps, shredded pile of bulgogi, big hunks of pork rib meat, spice-marinated chicken thighs and other South Korean meat dishes.
