'Deadpool' Movie: Ryan Reynolds' Wife Blake Lively Sparks 'Captain America' Rivalry?

Marvel Studios and DC's rivalry is at an all-time high with "Captain America: Civil War" and "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" releasing this year.

Now, Ryan Reynolds' "Deadpool" movie has been brought into the competition.

According to E! Online, fans have pitted "Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds and "Captain America: Civil War" star Chris Evans against each other in a poll deciding who has a better ass.

Reynolds, 39, responded and claimed that Evans has a better bottom.

"Chris Evans-he's Captain America," Reynolds said. "He has a very powerful ass."

He then poked fun at himself joking how his origin has something to do with the size of his buttocks.

"I'm from Canada, which is America's hat, so I can imagine that we have a slightly smaller ass in Canada," he quipped.

Reynolds' wife Blake Lively joined in on the fun and posted a meme of her husband on her Instagram account.

"Studies show if you are afraid of spiders you are more likely to find one in your bedroom," Lively wrote. "I am afraid of Ryan Reynolds."

The rivalry between the two superhero studios presumably began when DC dropped "Man of Steel" in 2013. Since then, several actors have taken stabs at each others' respective studios.

Samuel L. Jackson who plays Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe weighed in on the competition.

"I think marvel has figured out a way to make those movies accessible to the public that DC hasn't," Jackson said in an interview with MTV News. "I don't why you can't get Batman and Superman together and have people as juiced up to be a part of that."

Naturally, DC actors have fired back at their competition. In 2014, Jason Momoa, who is set to play Aquaman "Batman V Superman," wrote "F--k Marvel" on a poster he was signing for a fan.

Ryan Reynolds' "Deadpool" movie will come in first on Feb. 12, followed by "Batman V Superman" on March 25.

Meanwhile, Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" bows May 6.
