'Fast And Furious 8' Spoilers, Release Date: Cody Walker Not Part Of The Cast; Paul Still Returning In The Film?
Moviegoers loved Paul Walker in the "Fast And Furious" film, and the actor's tragic accident which led to his death left the movie hanging for quite a while. Eventually, Walker's brother Cody helped the creators finish the film. Now, will Cody do the same in "Fast And Furious 8?"
Rumors have been circulating that Cody Walker will be playing Brian O'Connor in the next franchise just like what the creators did in "Fast And Furious 7."
However, it seems like he is off the cast since his name has been removed in the official cast list of IMDB.
The Vice-Chairman of NBC Universal has also spoken and he said that Paul Walker's character will be in the film but has not confirmed if Cody will reprise his role.
"Paul won't be in it, but he'll be represented in some form or another but whether his image is in it, I can't tell you yet, but he won't be in the film as a performer, as an actor, the way we did it last time," Meyer said, Morning Ledger quoted.
Speculations are circulating that Jordana Brewster, who played Paul Walker's wife, will be returning to the upcoming installment as well.
Slash Film reported that the actress is ready to do the sequel if asked.
"There hasn't been discussion but I can kind of see it go either way," Brewster said in an interview. "Mia is with Brian but on the other hand she's still Dom's sister. I don't know. I'm not sure."
The actress has not confirmed if there is a chance that Mia Toretto would be returning to the installment but she know that it will be an amazing story.
"The best part was Paul and now it's the fans," the actress said in an interview. "I think the fans have a hunger for it which is amazing, but it'll be different for sure."
Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Eva Mendez will be reprising her role as Agent Fuentes in the upcoming film. Cara Delevingne is also in the wish list as the list of actresses joing "Fast And Furious 8" keeps getting longer and better. Stay tuned as more news as updates become available.
