The latest speculations claim that Nikki Reed is unable to process and is reportedly jealous of the rumors surrounding Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's reunion.
Recently, some fans of "The Vampire Diaries" stars posted some old pictures during their good time together on Twitter, Realty Today reported.
The photos were captioned with "We Miss Damon and Elena" comment, in order to express their hope of a reunion for the popular ex-couple.
Movie News Guide reported that the fans posted quotes and started a movement in the US over the social media to convey their message to the television show's producers of reuniting the ex-couple in the rest of the episodes.
The speculations tease that Nikki Reed felt more insecure and jealous, due to the trending pictures of Ian with his ex.
Some rumors also suggest that the "Twilight" star has issues with the great chemistry between Ian and the 27-year old actress, which is supposed to have caused problems in her married life.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the reunion speculations have created a rift between the husband and wife, to the extent that they are now considering getting divorced.
But, recently Gossip Cop debunked all the speculations revolving around Dobrev and Ian's reunion and claimed that Reed is unaffected by their onscreen chemistry and is certainly not jealous of the former lovers.
"Nikki is aware that fans of the CW television series like seeing Ian and Nina together but she does not let this affect her at all," claimed the publication. "At the end of the day, she chooses to trust her husband."
Also, The Inquisitr reported that Nina Dobrev has no plans for making a comeback to "The Vampire Diaries" series.
There are speculations that Dobrev left the series due to Ian's marriage with her former best friend, which made her uncomfortable on the set.
Dobrev has now reportedly moved on from the heartache and is happily dating Hollywood actor, Austin Stowell.
Ian Somerhalder, on the other hand, has slammed the jealousy rumors as he gushed about Nikki Reed in a recent interview.
"Every single day, look who I get to wake up with," he told People of his married life. "We're under kitties and dogs, and it's just pure bliss."
