‘Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth’ Released Against Pokemon's Shadow

Fans have been debating about which is better between Digimon or Pokemon for few years now. This time, Digimon fans pare ecstatic as the "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth" was released for PS4 and PS Vita lasy Feb. 2 and 5 in the US and Europe courtesy of Bandai Namco publisher.

There have been previous reviews before in Japan stating the game was the best version of the underrated series.

The famous "Digimon" series game celebrate its 15th anniversary with the release of its latest instalment. Plenty of fans had written the series and tagged it as a clone of another famous anime-game series "Pokemon" but eventually won fans over as according to them it has more relatable characters and intriguing storylines that are more mature compared to "Pokemon".

Contrary to what fans believe, Digimon was created as a masculine version of the famous Tamagochi, a virtual pet toy. Though "Digimon" and "Pokemon" has always been compared, fans of "Digimon" believe that the "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth" will be the answer to this long-time feud with the "Pokemon" fans and definitely will end this comparison.

Game's classic role-playing elements have been emphasized by Playstation Blog as they posted it as   "a faithful return to PlayStation in true RPG form." The game definitely has classic turn-based combat in which old-school fans will mostly appreciate, since most RPGs have removed the concept nowadays.

"Digimon" fans not only are proud but happy as this amazing game will be the first "Digimon" game to be released for home console; since previous series have been released for Nintendo DS only. Since it will be released in PS4 and PS Vita and due to its popularity, gamers will have more access to Cyber Sleuth: The new "Digimon" game comes with high-resolution image qualities compared to "Pokemon's" core series which are still stuck with Nintendo 3Ds with unlikely ideal image quality.
