Ariel Winter's breast reduction scar made the rounds in the internet as the "Modern Family" star bravely walked the Screen Actors Guild red carpet this week with the mark clearly visible through her dress. She even took to Instagram to show off her imperfection.

The Los Angeles Times noted that the actress felt no shame about walking around with her scar clearly visible along the side boob of her stunning dress.

She went through the knife to reduce her bust from 32F to 34D, but this was the first time her scar was seen.

Fans of the "Sophia the First" voice actress quickly saw how proud Ariel Winter is with her breast reduction scar via her Instagram account.

"Embrace all that you are... Scars & everything. Your imperfections make you perfectly you <3 #loveyourself" she posted on her Instagram account on Wednesday.

The post has received 27,600 likes so far and around 140 comments of support.

Winter explained last year about the decision to reduce her bust size saying she had been struggling with her body image for years. Her F cups had also began to take a toll on her body.

"It started to hurt so bad that I couldn't take the pain," Winter told Glamour in an interview in August last year.

Aside from Ariel Winter's post on Instagram, she also took to Twitter to speak out about her breast reduction scar appearing at the SAG.

She tweeted, "Guys there is a reason I didn't make an effort to cover up my scars! They are part of me and I'm not ashamed of them at all. :)"

The actress previously claimed that she's been disturbed at how people were focusing more on her body than her acting abilities.

Ariel Winter has 425,000 followers on Twitter and a much larger Instagram following at around 1.4 million.
