'Legend Of Korra' Fans Petition For Its Return To Netflix; Inspired Artworks feature Disney Princesses As Characters
Scott Wade, an Art Nouvea artist, and Robby Cook, a 2D artist animator, showcased their outstanding talents as they both produce amazing arts inspired by "The Legend of Korra" series.
Art Nouvea artist Scott Wade drew the four most recent Avatars from "The Legend of Korra" and Avatar: The Last Airbender's History" Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, and Korrain in the style of Alphonse Mucha's "Four Seasons" posted on his Deviant Art and Tumblr account. Each of the Avatar was depicted in a season corresponding to their nation's element- summer for fire, spring for earth, winter for water and fall for air.
Wade also included airbending criminal, Zaheer and Toph in his latest art.
On the other hand, Robby Cook posted the all-time favorite Disney princesses as "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "The Legend of Korra" Characters.
Posted in his official Facebook account, Cook shared his very own version of the Disney princesses.
He posted the following descriptions to each art material. The works include Frozen's Queen Elsa as a waterbender; Mulan as a member of the Kyoshi warriors, Rapunzel of the Ancient Sun Warriors; Tiana of the Swamp Benders; Megara as the Master of throwing daggers Firebender Esmeralda; Belle as the Librarian of the Mystical Library; Princess Aurora of the Northern Water Tribe; Firebender Princess Jasmine; and Snow White and the 7 Earthbenders.
There was also "The Little Mermaid" Ariel as a wave-riding waterbender, Airbender Pocahontas; Merida as the Freedom Fighter, Disney Old men as members of the white lotus; Chief Powhatton as an airbender; Maurice as an Earth or Metal Bender; Merlin as Generl Firebender; Fa Zhou as master swordsman; and King Triton as a water bender.
In line with this, "The Legend of Korra" poster collection was announced to be released on October 11, which may suggest a September 28 Comic Store release date.
On the other hand, despite the huge fanbase and success of "Avatar: The Legend of Korra and the Last Airbender," Nickelodeon has decided to discontinue the Avatar franchise. As a result, some of the bravest members of the fanbase had petitioned Netflix to produce it for an online-exclusive show.
