‘Gakuen Alice’ Anime Elements DVD To Be Released In April; Special Features Included in Blu Ray
Nozomi Entertainment will once again bring back the 26-episode series of the famous manga series anime version of "Gakuen Alice" or also known as "Alice Academy" via DVD.
The anime DVD will be available for the price of $34.99 and will be officially released on April 5. It will be on its original Japanese with English subtitles that will include clean opening and closing credit versions, character biographies and Liner Notes as part of special features.
The famous anime series was inspired from the same title "Gakuen Alice" originally written and illustrated by Tachibana Higuchi. The plot is about an ordinary 10-year-old girl named Mikan Sakura who followed her best friend,Hotaru Imai in a secret academy where people are called Alice and where people possess individual power depending on their being. The story continues as it evolves on how Mikan will discover her past through that same academy and how friendship gives her strength to achieve and fulfill her destiny.
The anime series version was produced by Aniplex and Group TAC which was first premiered on NHK BS-2 that shows twenty-six episode which run from October 30, 2004 to May 14, 2005.
The anime was dubbed and translated in English language by Animax, anime television network and was broadcast throughout Asia. In the year 2008, The Right Stuf International in which Nozomi Entertainment production belongs, got the licensed to market it in North America.
Nozomi Entertainment shows not only the "Gakuen Alice" anime fresh releases. Among the anime listed are the "Magic User's Club Ova" series, "Gundam Mobile Suit Zeta" part 1 and part 2 and "Pita-Ten" DVD.
