Ellen DeGeneres And Portia Di Rossi Want No Baby? Couple Prefers To Be With Each Other?

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia Di Rossi have been married for almost eight years but the couple have never started a family.

Is a baby out of the picture for the couple?

The award-winning TV host recently revealed that they adopted a new puppy which they cheekily named Kid.

Although it was most likely said as a joke, the daytime talk show host told her audience that she adopted their new dog to end pregnancy rumors about her and her wife.

"There have been rumors forever, when are you and Portia gonna have a kid?" she told her viewers about why they named their new dog Kid. "So now I can say we have a Kid. So it can just stop." 

It seems that even without children to take care of, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia Di Rossi still love being with each other.

"We're just really good friends and we talk about everything, and we never ever, ever lie to each other, like not even the tiniest lies,"  the former "Ally McBeal" star recently told Entertainment Weekly. "And she's the only person I want to hang out with. Like, she is my best friend and I just want to be with her all the time."

She also added that being with her highly-liked partner is "awesome."

"Who wouldn't want to be with Ellen all the time?" she continued to gush.

On the other hand, had the couple given up on having children entirely?

There are a lot of options to have children nowadays - adoption, artificial insemination, and fertility treatments. 

However, it seems that the couple is still content with just being with each other and their dogs, Augie, Wolf and Kid.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia Di Rossi showed off their adorable family during the latter's 43rd birthday. 

The TV personality shared a photo of his wife snuggling up with Augie.

"Happy birthday to my incredible wife," the snap caption read.
