Member of the South Korean boy group SHINee, Jonghyun, will be releasing his first book titled "Skeleton Flower: Things That Have Been Released and Set Free" on October 2, reported Korea JoongAng Daily on Saturday. The book will be featuring the singer's inspirations for his song-writing and will include photos taken by Jonghyun himself.
Born Kim Jong Hyun, the singer and songwriter is the main vocalist of the South Korean group SHINee and the ballad group SM The Ballad. The 25-year-old singer was scouted by SM Entertainment in 2005 and was casted as a group member for the five-member contemporary boy group SHINee in 2008.
In 2010, SM Entertainment formed a project group called SM The Ballad where Jonghyun was also chosen by the entertainment company to become part of. The group's debut single "Miss You" was first aired on SBS's Inkigayo on Nov. 28, 2010.
According to a Reddit KPop forum on Sept. 24, the novel "Skeleton Flower: Things That Have Been Released and Set Free" will contain approximately 162 pages, which will feature chapters named after the titles of the different songs Jonghyun has written. A total of 10 songs will be tackled in the novel, including "Juliette," "Honesty," The End of a Day," and "Alarm Clock" to name a few.
Jonghyun's official Tumblr page noted on Sept. 24 that the book will only be available in Korean language.
Jonghyun's book "Skeleton Flower: Things That Have Been Released and Set Free" may be pre-ordered through KPop Mall USA, KPop Mart, KPop Town and South Korean online bookstore Aladin at $15.90. The book will also be sold at Jonghyun's solo concert in October at the COEX Atrium in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul.
