After much speculation over Lea Michele and Matthew Paetz's relationship status, reports are now saying that the "Scream Queens" actress is engaged!
According to Hollywood Life, Matthew Paetz proposed to Lea Michele over the holidays.
The couple has yet to make a public confirmation of the alleged engagement but for now, the "Scream Queens" actress is happy just thinking about being Paetz' wife.
Lea Michele and boyfriend Matthew Paetz have been talking about marriage for a couple of months now, OK Magazine reported.
"We've stood by each other through anything that was thrown our way," The "Glee" star said in a previous Empire interview. "He is a such a great man that he would never really let anything like that ever crack our lovely little core that we've created."
News of Lea Michele and Matthew Paetz's engagement comes a few days after the actress shared that she's still hurt over former boyfriend and "Glee" co-star, Cory Monteith's tragic death in 2013. Things are even harder for the actress when fans compare Paetz to Monteith.
"I love my fans," the actress said. .They're incredible and they were really a part of my whole story and my whole journey with me, so I do come from a place of understanding, but it's also really hard."
She further explained how she gets affected by the death of her former love.
"You know, every time I post a picture, then it's just a landslide of comments that talk about my past and bring that up rather than projecting positivity."
Despite this, Lea Michele believes that her boyfriend Matthew Paetz would have Cory Monteith's stamp of approval.
"He is very respectful towards the person that I was with, and that, again, is something I love so much about him," she said. "I really know that Cory would love him too."
Cory Monteith died on July 13, 2013, due to reported drug and alcohol overdose. He was 31 years old.
